Not a Screen Room, but...

We're looking for something light to clip to the front or side of our awning to keep sunlight out in the early AM and especially mid to late afternoon when the sun starts to beat down.

We've used the extra bed sheet from the rear bunk, but is just doesn't look right.

Does anybody know where I can get some of that Tennis Court screen?  It looks like it would be perfect, as it would cut about 75% of the heat out, yet still allow us to gaze upon whatever we have to be facing.  And the stuff isn't that heavy.

Any suggestions, or what do you use, if anything, short of a screen room or tarp to block unwanted sunlight under your awning?

Thanks,
SPX

I have seen some outdoor shade clothe at Lowes before. It was in the outside area near pool supplies at mine. Came on large roll and you buy by the foot, I think. It looked like it would work for what you want.

On the Cabin A I use a clear plastic shower curtain. they slide onto the side rafters of the awning, can be pulled back with a bungee (or easily removed) when not needed.

We found screen and solid sides for our Quik Shade at the Academy Sports. Those might work for the awning.

We just bought a roll of green sun shade at Home Depot.  cut is by length and sewed a couple together for a larger size.  got some heavy dutie clips and works great!

I saw the sun screen at Lowe's last weekend when I was camping with friends.  I am hoping my local Lowe's will have it.  I think it will work for what you want.:)

I bought a 16' roll 10' tall off of eBay for $ 26.  Has grommets every 12".  Two tone blue, so it matches the pup's awning.  Has an opacity of 76%...the seller had a bunch of them, different sizes and colors.

This will do the trick...I hope.  We're going to use it this weekend, well starting today, so if it works like I think it will, I'll report back.
