what should the cables and lifter bars be lubricated with ? i have a 1973 starcraft stairmaster 8 camper its in awesome shape want to keep it that way also what are the most important maintenance it

It should state in the owner's manual. On my Coleman, it says to use silicone lubricant.

I use the silicone spray lubricant on my roof supports and bed platform slides. I use White lithium grease on the rollers (just my preference). I also use white lithium grease on the lift cable rollers under the trailer. I spray the cables with silicone to keep the dirt build-up down.

I merely mentioned that because Starcraft may have different recommendations than Coleman.

Often times manufacturers recommend different items for economical reasons. Some even recommend extremely high priced products that are labeled with their own label. With a little research, you can usually find the same product, under a different label for a fraction of the price.
