Leaking storage doors...

I have a 2007 Flagstaff and the side storage doors are leaking water when I wash it.  Don't know about rain water getting in since it's covered and in storage when it has rained around here.  I tried replacing the weather stripping but that did not work.  It looks like some of the caulking around the exterior flange is cracked and I'm assuming that is the problem.  How do I fix this?  I'm assuming remove the door and frame, clean up the caulking and replace?  Any other solutions?

Thanks,
Tim

Gently bend out the lock tabs to assure you have a tight closure of the door.  You can use adhesive thin door and window seals from your local home improvement store and place around the inside of the door where it seals against the camper.  I had slight leakage around my Rockwood's side storage doors, and that solved it. Buy the thinnest and highest quality seal you can find, with the three small rubber seals instead of the foam type that could retain moisture. Seal the exterior of the door frame with quality caulking,  Wash gently without a high pressure stream of water.
