One of the things we're findnig about geocaching.....

.....is that most of the caches are hidden by people who are intimately familiar with  the area in which they are hiding the cache. We are finding that a lot of hides are in historical or otherwise interesting places. Sometimes in an old cemetery, sometimes in a place that offers a scenic view or a vista that we might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.  We are planning a camping trip to (probably) East Fork State Park  (Ohio) next month. I see there are at least 20 caches hidden within the boundaries of this park. Link to East Fork SP Geocaches We will be geocaching while there, though the amount and effort we put into it will depend upon many factors. I will report back with our experiences. If anyone has any observations or insights into this park or geocaching here, please let us know about them. Thanks
