New Puppy

Some of you know we were talking about getting a poodle puppy for Christmas. Well I talked to the breeder yesterday and the puppies were born on Tuesday. 4 total with only 1 female. Which is what I wanted but told someone else had first chance on her. I also wanted a solid color and all 4 were Parti's.(black and white) WELL, Ashlee and I made a trip to the pound today and we couldn't resist this little 2 month old terrier/poodle mix. Personally I think she looks more terrier. Ashlee named her Daisy. She's adjusting well and is such a sweetheart. She can't wait to go camping!

Looks a lot like our 12YO terrier/Dachshund mix, just much younger and much thinner!  (Our guy is well loved and too well fed)  I think the terrier definitely overpowers the other breed's characteristics.  Very, very cute!  

And  oddly enough, your furniture looks like the furniture we had up until a few months ago!  Reclining couches?  Weird.

Yes, it's a wrap-around sectional with reclining chairs and hideabed. We were just discussing tonite how old it is. Maybe she is part Dachshund. She has short legs. I'm not seeing the poodle.

Cute!  I'm finally going to get a new doggie to replace my Boomer (13-month old Rottie mix, had to be put down in May due to severe hip dysplasia) in early December; I'd only had him a year.  My wife's dog is getting far too hyper; I've convinced her that "HE" needs a pet

However, I think I'm going to get an adult dog this time, and one smaller than her Jack who is about 65 lbs (my Boomer was 110).

I'm waiting until December as I will be blissfully unemployed then - my contract ends, and I'm taking "quite a few" months off to relax as our 2nd baby is due Jan 10th.

This picture was 3 months before we lost Boomer.  Jack is the tan, Boomer the black dog.  Kelly, Shelby and our 3 nieces.

Based on my two dacshie mixes, the one really prominent feature that makes you know there's weinerdog in there somewhere is the big chest area.  My little Schnoxie could easily squeeze through our gates if not for her big chest!  She sticks her head and shoulders through to bark at me when I pull up, but is stopped by her ample bosom.  :p
 
If I knew how to post pictures into my posts I'd send you picture of my Rocky and you'd definitely see your dog in 12 years or so!  Your pup is cute and I can't wait to meet her.

Jellybean is NOT happy. I think she'll come around but it's going to take some time. All of a sudden Brian is her best friend. The puppy wants to play with her but Jellybean wants nothing to do with her. Even when I'm holding them both she turns her head in the opposite direction so she doesn't have to look at Daisy. Pouting just like a kid. Bear doesn't mind her.
