Hi All,

My two year old, who just enjoyed his FIRST camping trip in our new pop-up can't seem to get enough of the thing!  Every time we walk by it in the garage he says two things - "camper!" and "open?"

I've been scouring the net trying to find something that he'd enjoy playing with, and RECOGNIZE as a pop-up.  I came across this, but unfortunately it's already been sold:

I'd love to find something for him.  Any ideas??

Thanks!

NH

I see them on ebay all the time.  Maybe not as a complete set like that, but that's no hill for a hill climber.

Keep looking on ebay under toys.  My 1st grader still plays with a fisher price pop up camper and convertible tow vehicle that we got several yrs ago.

I've seen them like ours occasionally.

Here you go, and it will cost you only $20.00 from Fisher Price.

Camping Coxes

I bought this set while on vacation in Arkansas.  It was about $5 at an "antique" store -- one of those huge buildings with hundreds of dealers in one store, each with their own little area.  If you have any places like that near you, give it a look.  I found them all over the place back there and thought my son would like it when he was little.  However, at that time, if it wasn't a Power Ranger, he wasn't interested.

Do a search on Ebay .... Fisher Price Popup camper set or Fisher Price camper set.

There is one with a current bid of $21.00 (as of 10/11 @ 9:33 pm CDT)  With only 2 hours left.

A quick search showed that most go for about the $20.00 mark

Good luck

I'm starting to downsize as I prepare to retire next year (YESS!!!), and was thinking I should sell the 4-piece metal set I have.  $10 plus actual shipping costs.

I tried searching for a picture via google and couldn't find it, perhaps someone else has one.

A bit larger than match-box size, I think.  4 pieces (i think the color scheme is red/white/turquoise).  Popup camper, tow vehicle, and a jet ski.  I'm wondering if there is a VW bug in the set.

I KNOW this is annoyingly vague, but at least it will bump the message.  I'll bring them in to the office tomorrow.  sorry...don't do digital photography, but we SHOULD be able to find them online.

In mint condition, they have been sitting on the book shelf.

If interested, you can email me at sandykayak@yaho.com.  I'm in Miami, FL.

Hi Sandy, im interested in buying your PU toys. I sent you a PM, Thanks, Ed C.

Hi, grizzly...i replied asking if you are the original poster.

I see that you are not and neither is the other fella who emailed me before you.  To be fair, I will go with first-come/first-served.

PS.  The tow-vehicle is a turquoise SUV and the red VW bug tows the jet-ski trailer.  Just discovered a clear elastic holding the jet ski, so I guess it can hit the water.
