A week ago my wife and I decided we were going to do a special
project for our kids and the kids in the neighborhood. We decided to
teach them how to tie dye.We figured a day without any electronic
devices and some fresh air would do them all good.Saturday morning
I had my two boys helping me make dye, bottling the dye and on and
on we went.My one son filled the water bottles for the dye,he was called the "shaker man" because he put the dye in a small bottle and
then added some water and started to mix it.My other son was c
called the "salt man",he added salt to the water on the stove. After
a few hours we made a total of nine different colors.(Awesome fun).
We went outside to get ready, and before you knew it we had parents
and kids involved in a fun family tie dyed day.Now the only problem is
I can't stop,so off to the store for more white t-shirts.

Enjoy your holidays and happy camping.

Your kids are very blessed that you spent the day with them with such a neat event.  Nothing we do means as much as what we do with our children.

I have never made a tie die shirt.  It sounds like fun.  If you can give a rookie some help, I would like to try it.

Camping this weekend, I enjoyed playing "hail-mary" football with my son and a buch of his new friends at the campground.  Every play was "go-long" and after 4 downs, we switch possession.  This kept the rules simple and the play pretty safe.  My daughter and I played Bingo (she is learning her numbers) and we played cap guns with her friends (I was incharge of reloading guns and reminding the kids not to shoot near each others ears)

Far Out Man, that story brings back some really cool memories. Does anybody have any Doritos?
