table mods Bayside 2001

Newbie to PUP...
We had our pup up in the driveway last night and worried consistently about the baby crawling over and knowing over the table.

Hubby wants to redo the table...not certain if we can make it any stronger or if others have done it and have advice.

The current table top
measures 38 inches from walk space to window
and 30 inces from seat to seat.

He says there is room to make it/get a new table that is 40 inches from walk space to window.

Are there any commercial tables out there anyone has replaced these with?
Is there anything that we might not be thinking of if we venture to make one.
