Welcome back.

Forty miles of towing and no camping?  That's gotta be frustrating.

HersheyGirl

Welcome back...the place is not the same without you here.  :)

dademt

Yeah, your back.  It feels like Cotoc again.

I did manage to camp last night.  It wasn't in my PU, but I was camping.:)

I'm back too, for different reasons from Tracy...Let's just say last year's cruise was much much better, and this one will probably be my last...yes it was THAT bad...about 3 hours per night sleeping, due to a VERY rocky ride.  DID not get sea sick though, learned the secret (do not go to bed on an empty stomach (a hot dog and (yuck)( french fries from the grill on the back of the top deck). the food was good last time, was great this time, missed to deck side bar-b-ques, the afternoon sundae bar and I really really missed the creme brule and the flan they had last year.
The shows "comedy" ones put on by the production crew, were not what I would want my kids to go to.
I did get my picture taken with a Mayan warrior, and when Raymond was not looking, I bought it and came with 2 wallet sized piccies.

Welcome back Paula.  Sorry the seas did not cooperate with you.  Dthurk will be going on their cruise in a couple of weeks.  Hope they have better weather than you did.:)

I thought about you each time the boat rocked...after we left Key West on Thursday night, you would have been more than entertaining...We ahd one whole day it was sooooo windy they had to keep the loung chairs bungeed upstairs and not let anyone up there...the chairs on the regular deck were walking on their own once the peron sittin in it vacated the chair...wind was blowing that hard.
Thursday night, we had waves sso high they were hitting our window on the 4th deck and they took on extra balast...i watched the ORIGINAL Posiden Adventure when I was in HS, and I know how important that stuff is, and I told Raymond we were heading to the propeller room if anything happened...that is where the hull is the thinest and where they would most likely hear us banging for help... I was ready to get dressed incase the old gal started taking on water.  One night we heard a pump cycling on and off all night long, and woke up to the smell of an outhouse in the hallway...evidently someone flushed something other than TP and the vaccumm system messed up.

Raymond did not like the piano player, I thought he was good. The calypso band they had last year was better than the one they had this year, though these guys are good.  The ones last year could really mimic singers and sound like them...this one tried, but not quite.

Raymond and I had fun on formal (or not) night (no we had fun people watching, we were part of the "nots" though I could have, he did not want to), some of the dresses these older women wear...one was sort of a red and white disco dress, with red hose...There were some genuinely classy dressed ladies, the husbands were funny, the wife was dressed to the tee (the "Formal part) and the husband was in Jeans and a plaid shirt, definitely the "or not".  Then there were the class acts all the way around.  and some gals left you wondering just how the top stayed up...

Paula,
Glad you made it back safely. Sorry it wasn't the "perfect" trip but I'm sure it was good to get away from the normal grind. I've never been on a cruise so I'm  envious. A so so cruise is still better than no cruise.

Welcome back, tlhdoc!  Glad you see you up and posting again.

Paula, I'll email you, wanna hear more about the cruise.
