At our new house, I discovered a cleanout plug just inside the garage, not too far from our camper's parking spot. A light bulb came on. With the approval of the finance committee (lovely wifey), I decided to buy a Flojet waste pump, and make an assembly for the cleanout plug to adapt to a 3/4" hose.

I will attach a couple of pictures, but here is a link to the full, narrated "story" (click on thumbnail):

So to show what an idiot I am what is this for?  I am assuming it has to do with a septic tank (I have a pipe like that in my garage with a plug).  I have never had a septic tank until this house we bought 6 years ago New.  I keep telling my wife I am going to look into if it requires any maintenance but it just never makes it very high on my list of things to do.  Trust me I know I will pay for it someday.

just looked it up on the Internet.  It's for waste water tanks in RV's .. you hook it to your main sewer line cleanout, and it chops the waste from your RV black water tank into little (1/8") particles, and pumps it into your sewer, so you can empty the black water in the comfort of your own home..

That is very cool.

Sorry that it wasn't clear. It had been discussed a lot, maybe on hybridexplorer.com more than here, so I guess I assumed too much. :)
