Our new to us Fleetwood Bayside has an outside shower. How do you guys in the same situation actually use this set up?  Seems to me I would need something like the Cabela's Shower Shelter, or build an enclosure myself with schedule 40 PVC pipe or something.  And to make it functional, a mod to the shower hose would be needed. Then there is the problem of capturing the grey water -could probably do something with a big tote or a laundry sink. All ideas welcome. Tnx

Happy camping!

Here's how we do ours:

The black tray in the bottom (to catch shower water) is a (20"x40") cement mixing tray from Home Depot. It catches about 95% of the water and the rest just evaporates inside the tent.

If you wanted to get fancy, you could put a small 12v (boat) bilge pump in there to pump the water into your sewage hook-up. You could even install a hose bib in the side of the tray and just let it flow naturally (if it's a downhill run) or put a small pump in the line.

If you take a look at my webshots pictures I have some pictures of my solar shower enclosure.  It hangs from my roof rack right next to the outside shower.  If we need to collect the shower water we put the bottom of the shower stall into a rubber-maid tote.  I also use my outside shower as part of my dish washing station.  I put a small folding table and 2 dishpans on the table.:)
