Starcraft Pop-Up (Newest Edition)

I recently purchased a 2008 Starcraft Centennial 3612. I was going to buy an A/C unit at the dealer and have them install it, but the geniuses at the dealership were going to put it where the Fantastic Fan is (forward on the roof).  Starcraft told me that the Fan shouldn't be replaced and that there are no support beams for the A/C unit at that location. Plus, since I do a lot of dry camping I need the Fan.  

Now I am considering installing the A/C myself.  Starcraft tells me the roof is already framed out and has support beams for the A/C, and that there is a 20 amp outlet already in it. Since I haven't ever seen a Starcraft with an A/C unit, I am wondering if someone who has one can tell me:

 how the A/C wires are secured to the ceiling?
 where does the A/C plug in?
 where do the wires run down the side of the tent?

I don't have A/C, but I play a doctor on TV who has A/C. I'm here to give you moral support for listening to the Starcraft folks and opting to keep the fan. Installing one is on my mod list.

My Starcraft is almost 10 years older (where has the time gone?) and can only speak for that vintage ~ It came with a "convenience package" which included (amoung other things) a roof vent, an A/C prep of roof bracing and the 20 amp (110V outlet). The A/C unit would then be pluged into the 20amp outlet (which is so labeled). Since 95% of my camping is in non-electrical hook-up settings, I don't have A/C, but do use that 20amp outlet where there is electrical hook-ups and using the electric plug-in heater.

I suppose your interest is in hard wiring the A/C and that would indeed require some assistance from the tech folks at Starcraft.

There should be an outlet to the right of your heater; this is for the A/c unit. When the dealer installed my unit they placed spring clamps along the roof to secure the a/c cord when not in use. They placed the A/C unit in the middle of the roof where the support braces are and did not remove the exhaust fan.

I am surprised Starcraft didn't provide us with another 20amp outlet that is out of the way.  I would think the cord with get in the way of person sitting there.

I noticed you have the same PU.  I was wondering if you use a weight distribution hitch.  If so, what brand and model and what is your impression.

The cord does not seem to get in our way.
I do have a husky W/D, I have the extra long shank so I can tow with the tailgate down due to the quad. The W/D did a great job balancing the weight as I went to the scales prior to installing it and after and it made a great improvement.
