Pt Mugu - March 7-8

We are thinking about going to Pt Mugu next weekend (March 7-9).

The CG is wide open (40 sites available), no reservation needed. It's dry camping (water available) at it's finest. and only $15 a night.  :sombraro:

I have to post this disclaimed  :rolleyes: ........the months of March & April can be a bit volatile at Pt Mugu (that's why it is empty). A careful watch on the weather is needed. If a cold front goes over the area during the weekend, there can be quite strong winds and water spouts that come ashore and cross the CG. I know......it happened to us last year and damaged our PU.

However, if there is high pressure over the region, it can be a beautiful weekend  :S .

We will watch the weather and make a decision by next Wednesday. If anyone is interested, please join us (if we can pull it off).  :sombraro:

I never thought of how it got there...we just thought it was cool and would climb it and run and jump down it...

we are going to the wild animal park...hopefully maybe the 3rd time is a charm

last Sat- Rain.

Tomorrow- Kevin is sick and it keeps threatening to get me

I just need to check that they haven't booked something like
a birthday party or something.

I know I can't leave work early on friday, so I might opt to show

We will be staying at Thornhill Broome. It looks like the weather will be good but it's a little too early to tell for sure. We will decide for sure on Wednesday.
