Hi everyone:

2 goofy questions from a rookie:

1) I'm a new pop up owner and am planning on visiting one of our favorite places (Sleeping Giant Provincial Park in Ontario) for the first time with our trailer. When we camped in tents on previous trips I did not pay attention to the sites very much and I am not sure what they mean by a site being suitable for a trailer <18ft (denoted by triangles on their maps).  Does this mean that my trailer which is 16ft will fit just fine even if it is 22ft when I slide out the beds?

2) I have to add a battery to my unit-any suggestions? Are the Optimas as good as they claim?

Thanks so much for your advice!

normally the size refers to size of the pad or "footprint", so your popouts should not be a problem

Hey Demastes

Normally sites marked by a triangle will be plenty big enough but some descriptions don't always seem to match sites. Often the measurement of distance to electrical post is completely inaccurate. Plan to bring at least 75 ft of power cord. We often book larger sites as they are the same price and the extra room is nice.
Hope this helps.

Cheers
