The camper is open, the water system dewinterized and sanitized.  I will blow out the lines just in case.  The rugs are washed, the floor was stripped and 2 coats of Future applied.  The bedding is clean, but still flannel.  The trunk was cleaned and repacked.  Protect All-ed the vinyl tenting.  Looking forward to my next trip! :)

Wow, I got tired just reading all that. Our camper is still in the garage... we're still waiting to hear officially from the HS that K has off that Friday but she just invited a 2nd friend to come along so we're making plans as if this is a go. Chris got the Friday off and Kelsey politely asked her coach (again) if she could miss that Saturday's game in Westfield NJ (about a 2hr drive from HR). She was told that she can probably miss it. Hope so, since the game has been scheduled for 5:30pm and we would have to miss the potluck dinner. Tracy, I'm not worrying about the site. We'll make it work somehow. I remember my site being a bit smaller than the others but I thought yours was huge - I can't believe they sent you a letter about your site. It must be about the angle of entry. You're a pro, so it should be a cinch for you.

Tracy-

It sounds like you are set for some good times ahead. I guess we will have to unwinterize ours again. I like that fancy tool you let us use. We will have to get one of those. I guess it is better to be safe not sorry. Our popup gets a new home tomorrow. I will miss that popup. I told John I wanted to keep both campers. This way I could have took it out by myself instead of the 23ft one. Which I will have to give it a try.

We will see you next week!

We start working on ours this weekend.  Want to go out on first trip of the year on Sunday.  Gotta list of camper things to do before, though.

Just bought a Safari Chef portable or table top grill.  (Getting a new grill was on my "to do" list.  Only item crossed off so far.)  I'm really impressed with it up to this point.  It works as a stove, griddle, ribbed surface grill, bbq grill and wok.   It's not real large, but that's some of the appeal, it breaks down into a really small package.  It can be had from Amazon.com for $70 including shipping.  It wouldn't be appropriate for large families, but for a couple or small family such as ours, it's a great size.

About all the maintenance I am doing was done a French Creek the other weekend with the help of Scott.

Well I did buy a spare tire mount and will have to try to find a place on the "A" to put it, since i moved the battery to the outside, there is not a lot of room out there.  I will probably have to trim the gas bottle cover to fit around the spare tire holder.  This little trailer has LARGE tires, 14" if I remember correctly.

Doesn't quite fit under maintenance but I ordered a generator to take on certain trips.  Most likely next week I will finish doing the spring stuff ( other then washing the outside ).

yea Di, mine are both dirty, I will be leaving afternoon which leaves too little time to hit the carwash to wash the trailer, but then again, Raymond is planning on coming, so he can scrub with the brush while I wash.

Raymond had the new 10 lb gas bottle purged and filled for me, easier for me than the 20lb for the distribution tree and cooking.

We are still trying to figure out what to do with the spare, the tire may be too big to hang on the side of the "A" with the spare tire mount (it is raised but probably not enough), these Cabin A's without the trunk are REALLY limited on storage, had the battery moved out to the tongue last year.  Now just what to do with that pesky spare...it is too hard to get to IF I have a flat (knock on wood that I WILL NOT) when traveling alone, since I put the bed in.

The biggest spring maintenence is MOI!!!! I can move more and more...LOVE those Yoga stretches.

Got the lines all flushed and all systems go!

Looking forward to this weekend.

When I went to check the tire pressure, in the camper tires, I saw some cracks in the sidewalls of one of the tires.  I didn't want to take a chance on a tire blowing, so I swapped it with the spare.  Not what I had planned for this evening.:)
