Fridge fan Baffle

My factory fridge fan which runs on a thermostat seems to run way to much so I decided to try to make it run less. I have installed several of these fans on different coaches all the same way with the fan pulling air through the fins. The instructions in my packet show two options for the fan with Casita using option two with the fan pushing air up towards the fins. When you look down from the top vent you can see a big empty space with no baffle so I made a simple baffle to direct air flow into the fins. Hopefully this will make it run more efficiently. I did not run the baffle in front of the chimney as I don't want to restrict air or heat in that area. I will know next trip if this helps.

Nice work.  Hope that does the trick.

I installed a baffle at the top edge of the lower door, and then one like you've put in, up top.  Then I mounted the fan dead center in behind the top louvers, with a manual on/off switch down in the bottom next to the controls.  We've only camped with it one weekend like that, but in 95^F temps, I saw little improvement in cooling.  I think my 21 year old fridge has some chrystaline build up inside the tubes from being run out of level, so it's just not as efficient as it once was.
