I have seen many TT's and Motorhomes for sale in SE Wisconsin, also older PUP's and new smaller ones siting in driveways around the area. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next couple years PUP"s will gain popularity with people shifting to smaller suv's  and hybrid's I don't have a Fleetwood but I would imagine that some company will pick up the facility, buy the patent or plans and continue with the popup line, possibly with a different name. The only problem right now is parts availability for the units sold recently as parts run out. Do they make Fleetwoods with a lot of the standard appliances that are used in other units?

Fleetwood doesn't make any of their own appliances (that I'm aware of).

They buy them from major manufacturers like Dometic etc.

I would imagine that all of the suppliers are hurting as well but I doubt they will stop building the smaller lines........unless, of course, they go out of business. :(

The appliances/amenities are pretty standard with all other PUP manufacturers.

Current Fleetwood dealerships that are 'full service' can order or have in stock parts for Coleman's, Fleetwoods, and I would imagine that the new owners of the Fleetwood Folding trailers will have taken on all past parts/service as part of the 'deal'.

Once you load all of your camping equipment, clothing, food, and other family members most of the current crop of smaller SUVs and hybrids are not capable.  The problem there is that many of the smaller SUV's and Hybrids do not have the safe towing capacity, typically 2200lbs to 5500lbs (GVWR), (lbs.) for fully loaded trailers.

Many manufacturers, (even Fleetwood's 2008 sales brochure) downplay the need for towing capability by highlighting the Unloaded Weight of the trailer:

OPEN LENGTH (Approx)  UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Wt.)  Model
17 Feet                      1,245 lbs. - 1,395 lbs.  Taos, Cobalt, Sedona
20-22Feet                  1,575 lbs. - 2,285 lbs.   Yuma, Sea Pine, E1,Santa Fe, Cheyenne
24-26 Feet                 2,135 lbs. - 2,910 lbs.   Westlake, Sun Valley, Bayside, Utah, Williamsburg, Saratoga, E2
27Feet                       2,965 lbs. - 3,160 lbs.    E3, Niagara, Arcadia
29Feet                       3,710 lbs.                    Avalon
