The Sunday issue of the Tennessean had a great story about a couple from middle TN who retired early to full-time.  I have never met these people but I know there are some folks on here who hope to do the full-time thing some day.  The story also included a link to their trip journal.   http://mytripjournal.com/werewinginit

I've spent a few hours reading portions of this, and have found it to be very interesting as well, as very insightful.  Check it out!

I keep a journal which came with our PUP manual of the places we camped, city and state, how may nights, rate, what site number, hookups or non hookups, likes and dislikes. I ran out of space so I made a word document as a continuation of the manual.

I also keep a 3 ring binder with clear sleeves of the campground maps filed by state and our sites circled so I know which ones we liked and didn't like. It has helped with rebooking sites when needed. Sometimes I like to look back and see all the places we have been. We have taken 4 cross country trips so I have collected a lot of maps and info since 2002.

I take it with us on our camping outings in case we meet people who are traveling and I have some info for them.

One of my favorite entries (so far) in their journal was the day Visa called them to make sure they were ok.  Visa evidently noticed they had made no purchases in a WalMart for a few days and became concerned.  Too funny!
