Broken water supply line.

I was curious as to how hard it is to switch out a water supply line in a Viking? The nut that attaches to the faucet is broken and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately I was told I can't just replace the nut. I noticed it is an awful long supply line and don't even know where it goes to. Any help would be appreciated.

Debby,

Are you speaking of the replacing the faucet or the actual water line? We replaced our faucet several years ago because all these kinds of faucets have plastic parts. We bought our faucet for around $25 at Camping World and it was pretty easy to replace.

If it is the acutal line, Camping World and other RV dealers sells those parts also. Most likely this will go to your water pump from the faucet.

This is all "standard" RV stuff, so cruise over to your local RV parts/supply/repair place, tell 'em what you've got and ask for what you need to fix it.

You can probably buy a new nut, whatever compression fitting goes on the end of the water pipe, and then just cut of the end of your existing pipe, slip on a new nut, slip on the compression fitting and tighten down the nut.
