We arrived home in just over 2 1/2 hrs., a very nice drive home!  We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed spending time with our intimate group of 9 fam.s.   Calico was fun and "Maggie's Haunted Mine" was definitely the best.  We also really enjoyed the progressive potluck, we got our German on with lots of yummy food.
This was a great rally for us to end our camping season.  Now that it's the holiday season, we won't be camping until next year.
Thanks, Recumbentman for organizing a very fun rally!

We too are home!  It was a long windy drive and we got home around 3:30 after a stop for gas, lunch and benadryl!  We had a wonderful time at Calico, the mine, train ride and mystery shack we all fun!  The Progressive dinner was a big hit and gave us a chance to strength out the dinner and social time to visit with everyone!  The weather was great, not too hot, cool at night, and the pool was enjoyed by Sean and many other sccampers.

Next campout, New Years, see you there!

Yes, it was a good time at Calico--Maggie's mine scared the bejeezus out of me!  We really enjoyed the Oktoberfest progressive dinner and look forward to a possible international progressive dinner next time we have a small group.  The ride home was definitely quicker than the Friday Vegas road crawl! Thanks Brad and Mary for putting this one together.

We got home in about 21/2 hours, thanks Brad and Mary for putting this together!  It was our first time to the ghost town and we enjoyed it!  The potluck German progressive was great, and we enjoyed all the food!  We look forward to seeing some of you on MLK.  After that we are staying put until May, but when the baby is born I will post some pictures!

We got home in about 6hrs but that is because I made Dave stop at the Big Bass Pro Shop...Spent 130.00 but got some Christmas stuff for the kids.. then I have him stop at Corona for more shopping at Toms Farms.  Going the 15 all the way there was  a lot less traffic even if it was out of the way a little. I thought it was worth it.  Don't ask Dave as he hates to shop...

We had a great time, the German food was wonderful and the progressive dinner was great success and different.  It was nice to talk to Wes, we hardly ever see him.  We probably won't be camping for a while either Don't want to drive on New Years weekend that far from home.   See ya in 2010 :W

Wow, Carol!  It definitely sounds like the ScCampers were lucky for once with the weather!  We went to Peggy Sue's for breakfast on Sunday--pretty cool place and the food was good too.

Finally have a minute to post.  This was a great weekend and rally.  Thanks Brad and Mary for getting this trip together.

The kids love Calico and the KOA is a nice campground (must nicer than the calico campground)

We made it home in just over 2 hrs, Matthew got to his friends party and I had plenty of time to clean out the trailer.  We have put her to bed (the stoage yard) till next spring, yes Brad, I'm a cold weather whimp.

Carol: some cool pics, we love that one of Sarah in the pool, thanks.  See ya all next time.
