I got my roof repair done went really good.  Thanks to everyone who answered my questions. I do have one more though when I go to put roof back on the pup its a 1985 palomino pony with the manual raise roof, Do I tighten the bolts holding the arms on tight or are they suspose to be just snug to allow it to pivot on the bolt.  only one had a lock nut on it the other 3 just had nuts on it which is corect? I would presume just snug to allow it to pivot.

If the lifts pivot on that bolt, it would best just to put a nice chrome cap nut on it, I would think. Lock-nuts will often come loose over time. Cap nuts can be tightened down against the end of the bolt and they will stay put (and they look nicer). If there is a big gap between the nut and the wall, you can fill it with washers.

I like nylocks for situations like this, but I can't answer your specific question because I'm not familiar with your camper's lift system.
