After complainig about Gustaf spoiling my Labor Day shake down of the new PUP, I'm camping at "Driveway State Park". We spent a couple of warm nights untill the weather got good enough for me to feel comfortable putting up the rig, but today the sky cleared enough and tonight with the help of the generator I get to sleep in AIRCONDITIONING! We even ran the cable so the little one can watch Spongebob. (you have no idea how hard a Spongebob deprived two year old can be to live with.) Thanks for all the good thoughts.

Glad the weather cleared up for you. I know that "Driveway State Park" is not the best camping place (no pool, no camp store, etc.) but at times I almost prefer a spot "close" to home.
Hope you enjoy the shakedown cruise. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy many more camping days at a better park!

Nice!  Congrates on your first trip.  Doesn't matter where it is, once the canvas unfurles.....it's officially camping!

Glad you are getting to go camping.  Enjoy the trip and take a pen and pad along to write down everything you forgot to put in the camper.  Have a great time camping.

Last night we got power. It was good to have the whole house electrified and not just what the Generator could provide. Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. Please remember the folks who still have no power and water.
