I was wondering what type of lube to use on my bed slides?  They are becoming hard to pull out at times and I need to lube them but do not know what the best type is could I please get some input.  I was thinking of using a dry graphite of some kind.

My Fleetwood Owners manual suggests using 3-in-1, however I've had excellent results with silicone spray.

Kind of amazing a manufacturer would recommend 3-in-1.  That's actually a worse lubricant that WD-40(which isn't even a lubricant).

I think Silicone spray would be your best bet because it won't attract dirt/dust and make the tracks dirty and worse off later on.

If you're going to use a petroleum based spray lube, I'd recommend "TriFlow" which is a gun quality lubricant.  But use it sparingly so the tracks don't start to get grimey.

I use dri-lube by Liquid Wrench. It's a silicone that dosen't leave a film to get on canvas.

What you want is a good "solid film lubricant"  Most of these are pretty expensive, but well worth the money.  They stay where you put them and do a great job.  They don't attract dust and are superb lubricant.  You will probably have to to to a specialty store like a bearing store or Grainger to get these.  Expect to pay $10 -$20 per can.
