speaking of furnaces......

any one know where to start with a furnace that wont light??? i am hooked up to 110 v...propane is on....switch under thermostat is on...switch on furnace face is on.....i turn it up to 90F and get nothing...its a Hydro flame model...I dont have a battery hooked up and i have the wiring unhooked on the ceiling lights ,because of the ceiling repair.....any help would be great.....

My first thought is that you are not getting 12v to the furnace.    The first thing that should happen is the blower should start for a short period of time before it tries to light.

No blower, no power I think.

and i had 12 volts at back of inverter...went to the thermostat....and put my volt meter across the contact and a small copper wire and pooff the furnace started up...ran for a bit then hot air started to blow....turned it off and on a couple times and it worked fine.....got to love it...thanks all for the suggestions...now back to work on the roof!
