I had a '99 Coleman Santa Fe with a ABS roof that I was able to just set my 100lb boat on.  I used some foam pads to lay it it on and it worked pretty good.  I just bought a '04 Fleetwood Utah that has the AlumiTite Composite Roof.  Can I just put my boat on top of it if I use the same foam again?  Is the roof strong enough?

I carry a Radission transome canoe (we use to call this style a canoe/boat) on the roof of my '99 Starcraft Venture which has the aluminum roof. The difference between the one shown here and mine is that the color is olive drab green rather than the barktome.

Anyway, I use the foam blocks but make sure those blocks are placed right at the ends of the roof where it curves downward which is supposed to be stronger
than somewhere in the center. No problems and it's getting close to 10 years.

The original 2004 sales brochure had a picture on the back cover of a 12' Alumitite roof trailer with a canoe on the roof.  If you use the built-in Yakima rails and associated hardware you can carry alot while the roof is down.

The actual Aluminum skin is very soft. The roof is a sandwich contruction of luan/foam/aluminum.  I have seen a few Alumitite roofs with footprint indentations across them, (where someone decided to install a fantastic fan, or simply walk on it).   While the roof technically can support the weight, but it's not a pretty sight where the non-distributed loads were applied.
