Hi,
I have a 2006 coleman/fleetwood cheyenne.  It has a low pressure connection outside for an RVQ grill.  I use a coleman roadtrip grill, so I would rather have a stove outside.  I found a used coleman (atwood) high pressure stove on ebay.  Is it possible to convert that to low pressure?  What is involved with changing the connectors?
Thanks in advance for your input

No!
The Atwood high pressure stoves operates on regulated 16 psig (at one point Atwood Mobile's web site displayed the stove brochure and this info was available). Your low pressure is less than 0.5 psig!
On some Coleman PUs, the high pressure was teed after an initial 16 psi output regulator to the side of the PU for the high pressure stove.
Many folks enjoy the high pressure stove since it performs better in windy conditions. You could duplicate what Coleman did on some PUs!

I suggest you get a Coleman stove that is regulated to 15 psig, and use 1 lb bottles or you could get a low pressure Camp Chef stove (heavy) and connect it to your low pressure hook up via their RV connection hose.

In addition to the L/P regulator information,  there might also be some issue with the stove jets going from high pressure to low pressure. Might be a good idea to contact Atwood and see how that model stove is set-up

I use a Camp Chef two burner stove , I think it is a "Pro 60" or something like that. I hook it up to the low pressure fitting on the side of the pup (2005 Niagara)with a 8 foot hose. I also have a BBQ box that fits over one burner for grilling steaks, burgers, ect.

It is heavy, but works great. Much better than the old high pressure stove that we had for the outside of our 2000 Coleman Sante Fe

We have an 06 Santa Fe with the RVQ. We do most of our cooking out side  on a high pres Century 3 burner camp stove.Considered doing some gas plumbing mods but just decided to make a hose to run from our second 20# tank to the stove that fit so well on the RVQ bracket. When we want to use the RVQ we just set the stove off to the side. :usflag:

im in the market for a new grill,  wich road trip grill do you have? do you like it?  Ive heard good, and bad such as the lid handle melting or the pull out shelves melting if left in.  i do like the way they look but i don't want to be too hasty.  any input is welcome.
