Avatar issues

Dave was telling me that some people are having problems with Avatars.  Post issues here and I'll try and help

I have tried dozens of times to get an avatar to post.  The site automatically chose "don't use avatar" for me and will not let me un-choose that option, so it  won't display the generic avatars for me to use.  The site will let me choose "use custom avatar", but I don't have one so that option does me no good.

Ditto what Tiffany said. I emailed Dave and he replied that he would check with the programmer (I'm sure that's you) and have just been waiting to hear back. I hope you can fix the problem.  Thanks in advance.
