Prescott NF CG Openning .

I took a drive up to Lynx Creek yesterday to do a little gold panning, as I past the turnoffs for Lynx Lake CG and Hill Top CG I noticed the forest service in the process of changing the sings from CLOSED FOR SEASON to CAMPGROUNDS OPEN. CG Hosts were moving there rigs in and setting up..
Openning day for CG in the Prescott NF is this Friday 3/27..
I did notice that prices for a sites have gone up from $10.00 a night to $18.00 a night, and the price for day use at the lake or any of the recreation areas in the forest has gone from $2.00 a day to $5.00.  The $5.00 day use fee is now included in the campground fee.
CG are still dry camp only, no hookups.
We'll be heading out next weekend, can't wait.

Hey there Buddy Bear.  Nice pics.  We were thinking of heading up to the Prescott area the last week in April, we're itching to get camping.  If you try any of the new CG's give us a review if you have time.  Thanks for the link to the Mormon Lake areas, I've seen that site before just wanted to see if anyone has been there lately.  The White Mountains are in our radar this summer, Hawley Lake to be exact.  Hope you are well, enjoy your camping trip.
