I've got a 2007 Fleetwood Saratoga with the rack rails along either side of the roof.  What is needed to make use of these rails, ie. install a rack for the top of the camper?  Will any rack system that uses rooftop rails work?  Would there be something available that I could use on the camper then transfer to our Dodge Durango or Honda CRV?

Dave you would need to get the "feet" that slide in the track and the crossbars.  Then you would need to install bike trays, kayak racks, etc.  The crossbars would probably be too long to use them on your vehicles.  I have the roof rack on my PU if you want me to send photos?:)

Thanks, Tracy.  Photos would be nice, if you could send them or give me a link to them.  Are these feet generic, or do I have to look for something from a specific manufacturer making them very expensive.  I'm just looking to install a couple of rails across the top of the camper that I can tie down our blue tote and a container or two holding hoses, chocks, outside setup stuff.  I'd also use it to mount our solar panels before raising the roof.  But...I don't want to spend a lot of money on it.

I would like pictures as well as I am wanting to put a bike rack on my camper as well. Where did you get the "feet"? Thank you, Robert

I will take pictures tomorrow, IF, I get the trailer popped down before it rains.  If not i will get pictures Thursday before I leave on my trip.  I had the ABS roof on my PU when I purchased it.  Fleetwood replaced it with the Alumatite roof.  I had the bolt through the roof, type roof rack on my ABS roof.  Fleetwood supplied the "feet" for my new roof rack.  A Coleman dealer would be able to supply them.  I think they are made by Yakama. :)

Sorry it took so long.  I did not get the PU popped down until this afternoon.  I posted new pictures on my Webshots album.  If you have any more question let me know.:)

Tracy-  Thanks for the pics.  We have different styles of rails.  I'll have to post some pics of ours.  It's popped up right now at the road with a for sale sign on it.  We're going to be leaving in a couple of days for the Outer Banks.  I don't want to leave it set up while we're gone.  I'll get it down, take some shots and post them.  Might be a good time to take a whole series to use to help sell it.  Lots to do in the next couple of days.
