I am getting set for my first trip of the spring and I am wondering what maintence items I should do to get my pop up ready for the season.  I have an 2001 Starcraft Spaceliner.

Camp&Fish

Here are a couple of things that come to my mind:

1.  Pop it up.  Make sure everything is still in good and working order.
2.  Re-pack bearings if needed.
3.  De-winterize and/or disinfect water system.
4.  Wash sheets, etc. if needed.  Put them back on the beds (assuming you put them on before each trip instead of upon arrival).
5.  Check battery, charge if needed.

That's all I can think of for now.  I'm sure others will more suggestions or ideas.

check tires for dry rot and air pressure. (including spare) Make sure there is enough propane.  Try out appliances (Refridgerator, heater, hot water heater, check water system for leaks and that the pump works) to make sure there aren't any suprises on your trip.

Here is what I do at the start of non-winterized camping season.

1.  Repack the wheel bearings and adjust the brakes
2.  Torque the lug nuts every 30 to 50 miles until they stop loosening
3.  Check/adjust tire pressure
4.  Sanitize the water system, including the water heater
5.  Lube the lift system
6.  Lube the bed slides
7.  Lube the tongue jack
8.  Turn the fire extinguishers upside down and thump them with a rubber mallet a few times to loosen the chemical in them
9.  Check that all appliances work
10. Reattach the battery after running it through the conditioning cycle and recharging it
11.  Lube all zipper slides
12.  Repack all the camper stuff that was removed for the winter (I keep it all stored in totes so nothing gets lost).
13.  Go through the first aid kit and replace everything that is out dated or will soon be outdated
14.  Wash/strip/ and Future the vinyl flooring
15.  Clean the vinyl windows with Plexis plastic cleaner
16.  Clean the other vinyl with a vinyl cleaner.  I use Protect All

I know there is more, but this is what I can think of now.:)

Your owners manual should have a suggested maintenance schedule.  Tlhdoc's list is a good guide too.

What do lube zippers with? That sounds like a good idea.

I am wondering also what you use to lube the zippers.

I use "Parrifin"for tent zippers, seems to work fine, even in cold weather....I use "Dry-Lube"on slides,or WD-40,but it attracts dirt and grime...Oxiclean or Fanastik for vinyl tenting....Check manufacture to be sure for your rig...

I use Shurhold's  "Snap Stick" to lube my zippers and snaps.  It works great.
