Wind vs. Pop-up...

So how did the first trip go?  How strong was the wind?  Our first camping adventure we experienced gust to 60 mph.  We were worried that we were going to tip over, and we were in our Niagara, which is pretty heavy.  Glad we were not in a smaller pop-up.

Yeah!  We got back from our second trip (although I would prefer to call it our 1st, the other one shouldn't count).  The weather gods were more then kind... it was 90 degrees in April!  Wow.  Anyway, trip couldn't have gone better.  I WILL NEVER SLEEP ON THE GROUND AGAIN FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE!!!  I am a new pup lover - that's all there is to it!   Already booked 14 more trips from now through September.... can you say hooked?  

The only question we came out with was how to work the fridge on electric... I posted a topic under general titled "how to use our refrigerator???" if anybody has the time to help!  I'm thinking it's probably a newb thing....

Thanks to everybody for responding, I took the time to read every one of them and took something from each.  As far as the 50+ winds and scared children (I think I'd be one of them), I'll just as soon stay home, lol.  But I won't stress over the 20mph like I was and I'll just keep my awning in.
