I know there is another thread on this subject but our gas has been going up fairly steady this first week of May, 2009.

Gas on Central California Coast, specifically Santa Maria, is at about $2.37/9 for 87 unleaded and rising.  What do you think it will be by the Big Summer Kick-off Hoilday?

Edit the price to 2.37 but it still going up and some are now 2.45/9, too.

Our gas prices have raised 3 cents almost every day for a week straight now!

they said crude oil has gone up $2.00/barrell and refineries cost more to produce the summer blends of fuel.... hence the raise... they expect gas to get to over $3.00 gallon  HERE by 4th july....

FYI we are at 2.15 gallon we were 1.98 on sunday..... 6 days later = 15 cents more....  arghhh....

I know it is not comparable to your rate difference, but it is still a hit to everyone....

Here on the east coast, we too are seeing a big jump in gas prices.  In MD, saw an increase to $2.04 from $1.89-$1.97 just last week.  NJ just hit $2.04-$2.09 in the last 2 weeks.

Sad thing....ya can't boycott the prices/stations....as there aren't any alternatives.....supply & demand?  Political?

We've went up the last week from $1.95 to $2.05.but,why should we complain?Summer fuels do cost more to produce, and look at last summer.we got to $4.05 and also had the shortages on fuel..also pulling these PUPS dont affect fuel mileage hardly, compared with 5w's and tt...

We all know summer season is "travel season",so prices all around go HIGH,gas, hotels, entrance fees.....Look at it this way, camping is lots cheaper than hotel stays.....................so,suck it up and enjoy the summer.....

Gas went up gain for us here.  I know the big holiday and summer are coming soon but the increase is very fast it seems.

2.51/9 and climbing.

Here in southeast Wisconsin regular unleaded gas is now going for $ 2.79 a gallon as of June 1. Our wonderfull governor has just introuduced into his buget another gas tax hike.
