MPLS Pop-up!

Howdy! I have coated canvas on the pop-up. Not sure with what- smooth/white/awning-ish. I have some small holes in it over one of the beds. nothing bigger than a dime.

I was thinking about using bike tube patches on it. The kind that uses rubber cement. Is there a better option? The canvas gets folded and squished pretty good when it's shut. I'd hate to find that the patches came off at a campsite.

Thanks

I hope this link works but here is a patch kit from cabellas that should work for you.  They also have a larger kit for about twenty bucks.  We have the larger kit in the pu just in case of an issue on an outing.
hope this helps.

I have seen iron on vinyl patches at marine stores used on heavy grade vinyl...

I purchased a Tent patch kit at Walmart to repair a hole in my canvas. It was about the size of quarter. I patched it about 2 years ago and have been in some serious rain storms in Florida during some of camping trips. It has never leaked and I have not had a problem with it. I now keep one of these little kits in my Popup. The cost is under 10 dollars and it comes with a couple of pieces of pretty thick vinyl and the glue. Its actually a awning repair kit but they have it in the camping section at our local Walmart and it worked great. A friend of ours had their pop up patched at the dealership and they used the one from a marine shops. The patch is a little thicker vinyl but they all work just fine and they are inexpensive.

Believe it or not we don't have a 'local' Wal-Mart. I have heard Wal-Mart has a nice RV section. Might be worth a trip to one. I'll take a look at the Home Depot next time I'm there to see what they have.

Thanks for the tips!

I'm parting out an '82 Coachman and it has the white vinyl clad canvas over both bunks and the end windows of the bunks.  All of this is in very nice condition, so if you need pieces or a big piece, or whatever, let me know.  There's also quite a bit of tan canvas.
