Returned Friday from a trip to Michigan, a total of 1670 miles. This is the furtherest we've pulled the pup on one trip.We attended the Compton Traditional Bowshoot in Berrien Springs,Michigan. It was pouring rain when we left, clear skies while traveling and steady rain upon arrival. We sat in the car 45 minutes waiting for the rain to slow enough to set up the pup.We camped from Tuesday night until Sunday with two nights of heavy rain and lighting.I felt for the people in tents with 4" of rain in one night. Our pup was nice and dry and we left the canopy up with three tie downs at each corner.A couple of pups lost their canopies.I looked out one morning and saw the pup across from me holding about 10 or more gallons in the awning and rain still coming down.It wasn't long 'till it collapsed. They had a huge tent for vendors about the size of a circus tent that collapsed on Thursday night with all the vendors merchandise inside.Luckily only minor damage as no one was in the tent. The company that leased the tent came from 3 hours away to raise it.Friday thru Sunday was clear except for a shower on Friday. We had a great time as all the festivities switched to plan B.We pulled out Sunday afternoon and left for Fenton Michigan to visit my wife's aunt.We started home Friday and stopped at the Cabela's store in Dundee Michigan. This is a must see if you're ever in the area.We got a great deal on a Cabela's steel belted cooler, just like the Coleman cooler, for $70 regularly $130.All in all it was a great trip. Here are the Webshot links to some pics.

Great pics! Looks like a blast. Makes me want to shoot my bow which I haven't done in many years.

I feel for those tent campers...Been there, done that!:eyecrazy:
