Intro

I guess I got ahead of myself earlier, I should have introduce myself but as usual I got right into asking the questions I had, sorry about that.

James 39 new to the popup worl but have tent camped for over 20 years.
Took the wife once when I was helping to start a new Boy Scout troop and she woudl never go again even once we joined a troop that had all the gear you could ever want.

Long story short missed an opportunity to buy a used pup from acrossed the street and that started a conversation with the wife - she did not want ot sleep on the ground, we struck a deal that she and the family would tent camp this past summer if all went well then we would start looking at pups. Well we now have a 2009 Jayco 1007 model pop up using our Dodge Grand Caravan as the TV - my little PT Cruiser would have a hard time pulling a Radio Flyer.

We have 4 wonderful children
Landon 17 - turning 18 in December - tent camped in Scouts with me since he was 4 and will soon be "camping" in Paris Island Marine Recruit TRaining center

Nathan 15 - who also has tent camped with me since he was 4

Paige 9 - who has tent camped some

Devin 7 who has tent camped since he was 4 as well.

oh yeah and Jess the DW who RV camped when she was younger and tent camped only so she could get the pup

Our goal is to get away most weekends during our camping season to a few local parks and just spend quality family time, playing games, hiking,swiming and just hanging out.

We've had our Fleetwood E3 for 3 camp seasons now and are very happy campers.
