Winding down the season and going through the little Starcraft, cleaning the mildew from the canvas, taking out the canned food stuffs and those items that are just not being used. But there are some items that are simply indispensable:

2-ton hydraulic bottle jack ~ bought this little jack at Wally-Mart about 9 years ago for less than ten bucks and used the fool out of the thing. Not only for the popup, but for the TV as well.

12V tire inflator ~ another Wally-Mart purchase and , again, for around ten bucks. Really the present one is a replacement, the first lasted maybe 6 years, and have used it to top off the pup's tires, especially when back in the boondocks. It's also been used for the TV a couple of times, too, when a slow leak occurred and topped the tire and then ran into town for a tire repair
at the local tire store.

Duct tape ~ what can be said about this miracle emergency repair item. One time got a small hole pocked through the aluminum roof and the tape was the repair for when I got back home a week later!

Parachute cord ~ got to be the niftiest "rope" you can have. Use it from anything from a clothes line, to lashing the canoe down for transit, to the tarp used to cover the pup and bunk ends, and who knows for what else.

What other "special" item can you list?

Some items that are simply indispensable:

Small Tool Box.  I have a folding kit just for the camper that has hammer, three screwdrivers, measuring tape, utility knife, adjustable wrench, needle nose pliers, slip joint pliers, diagonal cutting pliers, and a quality 0 to 100 PSI tire gauge.

Small parts box, including hose washers, spare LP connector and hose, duct tape and white vinyl tape, fuses, electrical tape, spare 12 volt light bulbs, hose clamps, wood screws, velcro, extra LP tank mounting bolt, spare tire valve covers, 30 amp/15 amp adapter, a length of wire, and the plastic toggles for the door.

4-way lug nut wrench that fits both camper and TV, along with most anyone else's vehicle you have the opportunity to stop and help.

A couple of pair of brown jersey gloves, as it is likely to be cold and/or muddy when that lug nut wrench is needed.

Refrigerator thermometer.

A few old towels or shop rags.

Several Bungee cords, a mesh/elastic cargo cover, and rubber coated twist ties.

A small plastic tarp.

Popup camping: Magna cart and a D cell battery pump to pump water out of my waterjug. Coleman on Demand Hot Water Heater, Dynago heater.

A shammie cloth is the best, for those morning where the dew is bad and the sun would take hours to dry things off and the vinyl windows and screens are drenched. The shammie dries things up so that you are putt a dry camper away. I never have to open up the camper when I get home because we had to put it down damp.

same stuff here:  4-way lug wrench and a floor jack - because a bottle jack just is not going to cut it.
