Seqouia area N/S

Where is a good place to camp, I'll be picking up DW in Lincoln, Ca and then going south and we would like to camp for about a week, Dieter liked seqouia rv park and the meet in the middle was at another place which escapes me now. Looked at the places in the park and the week were looking at is after memorial day and the 2 campground with reservations (lodgeple & dorst) seem booked for the following weekend.....has anyone stayed at potwisha or buckeye flats.
