Florida strange....

Watching the local weather on tv this morning, I thought it rather comical that the woman doing the forecast was telling everyone that winter weather will hit Florida on Thursday, and that we should all have our "Winter Coats" dug out and on the ready.

Really?

Forecast is for 47º in the morning, with high's topping out at 67º in the afternoon. I suppose that after having the 85º daily weather I've seen here in the last 3 weeks might be a little chilly for those that swelter down here all summer.

Me? I'll wear a hoody in the mornings (still wearing shorts).

That's funny. It all depends on what you get used to it seems.
When I lived in the Great White North we'd start sunbathing when it hit 50°

Years ago, we were at a B&B with friends on the Oregon coast.  One morning is was sunny, no wind and 50 deg.  My friend and I were sitting on the porch in shorts & shirts drinking coffee.  A couple from Florida came out in their puffy winter coats, took one look around and said "You guys are NUTS!" and went back inside where it was warm.
