I think I m going to bust before this weekend waiting on our new camper.  I feel like a six yr old waiting for Santa.  The anticipation is really making me nuts...If I had just been able to find the model so I could ve seen it before we ordered it, I d probably not be so anxious.  Please let it be everything I ve dreamed..I need to get this over with so I can move on and concentrate on the task at hand..Thanks for listening...my family is sick of looking at the brochure " one more time" .. Can anyone relate to these feelings?

PopUpTrioCan I ever relate!  It s my co-workers who are about to lock me out of my office!  It was just this past weekend that we bought The Bunk House.  We won t take delivery until we can unbury our pop up which is under 2 feet of snow at my BIL s house.

I feel a little sad giving up the pop up, I really never thought I would but The Bunk House is perfect for our family!  At the show my three kids just went into their own bunkbed and never even hesitated, it was like it was made for them!  I thought they would have argued over who would get the top, middle or bottom, but nothing.

We did take pictures of it at the show so I do have those at least but we re looking at maybe the middle of March before we can close the deal...it s driving me nuts!

PopUpTrioTammy..what did you get?...we sold our popup this past weekend to the first person who called and came to see it.  It was sad seeing it go...It was a wonderful camper but we just outgrew it...it will get better when the new one comes.

PopUpTrioWe got [link=http://www.palominorv.com/s235-sl.shtml]this[/link], a Palomino Stampede 235-SL and we call it The Bunk House [:)]

It s a 23 foot hybrid with one pop out bed for the adults and three bunk beds on the rear wall.  It s fully loaded, even has A/C and all the other goodies.  The couch slides out and there is a u-shape dinette.  Our floor plan is very similar to the Kiwi 23B except for the rear pop out.

It s so exciting!  I was going to try to sell our pop up which is only one year old but the dealer gave a pretty good price for it as a trade in so we will get rid of it that way.  Where I live we are taxed on the net price not the gross so the trade-in reduces the amount of tax I have to pay.

I just realized, we went on 14 trips last year camping for 45 nights and DH and I only slept in the same bunk end once, only because the kids stayed home that weekend!  Already the Bunk House sounds better [;)]

PopUpTrioI had the picture sitting on mydesk, i kept saying were theirs a will there is a way, and i m getting you!
i think we all had a case of it, mine was finding the unit at a price we could handle! i drove my husband crazy, every place we went and if i saw a dealer, we had to stop and ask, even when we were in Tenn. for the rally last year, we drove around looking. we finally found it in New Hampshire, at the right price with the highest trade in value, so  it fit into our " budget"  .. The guy thought we where just looking since we were out of state, and blew us off, but when i told him you give me the right price, we will go back to my friends house, clean out the popup and do the trade. He took all my information, checked my credit and two days later we drove off his lot with a 2003 SC 21SSO our friends we were visiting were speechless, my SON couldn t believe it, took off in a pu came back with a hybrid! that was a nice vacation!!!![:D]

Yeah, we can relate!  We ordered ours the end of February last year and didn t take delivery until the beginning of June![:o]

The weather was so rainy last spring, while we were waiting, that if we had gotten it sooner, we d be trying to learn how to set it up, in the rain.[:D]   It seemed to rain almost every weekend, as I recall, because everyone was talking about it.  I kept telling the guys at work that this rainy weather would quit once I got my camper...and it did![;)]  Right after Memorial Day!  That s went it started to get hotter than heck!
