 I seem to remember some links to some good info regarding sizing your batteries when using an inverter and such, but I ll be darned if I can find it (them) now!
 As I stated in a former post, I have Sleep Apnea and must use a CPAP machine to pressurize my airway while I sleep to prevent my breathing from stopping! As we mostly dry camp, I am rigging up a battery and inverter to run the CPAP. I am trying to figure out how many batteries I ll need!
 Does anyone know of any sites with info on formulas to convert 120 V AC Watts and/or Volt Amps to 12V DCand Amp Hours?
 Also, just how much fumes would the battery give off while charging hooked to an auto alternator? I was planning on having a spare deep cycle battery in the back of my jeep, hooked into the charging line of the trailer wiring. This would allow recharges while we drove around sight seeing! Someone warned me that the charging may create too much fumes to have in the passenger space!
 Thanks!

 garym053One of the best I have seen is Mark Nemeth s pages, try these

 [link=http://bart.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/12volt/12volt.htm]The 12volt Side of Life (Part 1)[/link]

 [link=http://bart.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/12volt/12volta.htm]The 12 volt Side of Life Part 2[/link]

 If I were you I would read part 1 for the background information, but part 2 is what you are really after.

 Good luck
