finally....I couldn t get into any websites for some reason for the past couple of days.  Now have a lot of catching up to do.  Just to let you know...I didn t get the job at the dealership.  [:@]  He said it was between me and another guy..but the other guy had car sales experience.  Oh well, maybe next time.  With all these appts for son, and tomorrows court date for full custody for us..now wouldn t be a good time to go back to work anyways.  Thanks for letting me vent a little.  From now on...I won t say anything about a job till I m actually am told I have it.

rednekrubbrduckHey Duck, If a guy has Car sales experience wouldn t that be a minus to the guy instead of a plus?

rednekrubbrduckDuck, you might not have nejoyed selling The Dark Side all that much anyhow[;)]   I hope you leave court with you and Lori having full custody of  Logan and never having to worry about the egg donor again.

rednekrubbrduckSorry about the job, and good luck in court.

rednekrubbrduckWhat were you doing at Lucent ?

I was a Quality Assurance/Technical Support manager at Nortel Networks, and that helped me land this excellent newspaper carrier job ! Use your qualifications and I am sure you will get something [8D][8D][8D]

I hope you are over the disappointment phase, just keep looking and find something to keep yourself busy.

rednekrubbrduckI did Installation.  Everything from power..to reg cables(tip/ring, coax, CAT 5, some fiber optics)...some of the equipment, cellular sites (loved that the best..you could have a site in..and up and running in a day..then move on, and it was mainly outdoors from middle of cities on roof tops, to out in the middle of nowhere in farmers fields).  Took over the warehouse/tool room when I got divorced so I could stay home with DS (exwife tried to use my transfers against me to get custody from me).  My background is pretty diverse..from law enforcement (when I was in the service), to restraunt and retail management, loss prevention, to what I did at Lucent.  Telecommunications got hit real hard out here...KC is the Sprint headquarters, and they ve layed off thousands also, along with Lucent, SWBT, AT&T, and all those lil companies.  Got a call from a security company that does Federal Security for the Gov.  Pays real good (17.50/hr), but need to be able to work midnight shift.  I m limitted on my hrs cause Lori is back to work at nights, and if she went to days..she would take a pretty good pay cut, so I have to be home by 11pm, and cann t take DS to daycare till 6 am.  She was going to talk to her boss about it.  She really wants to hire me (they only hire ex military).  We ll see.  Court went well...for us.  We have Sole custody now temp till end of may.  Ex only gets him every other weekend...and only can have him while she s at the shelter.  She has to call me when she leaves the shelter, and when she comes back, and can only begone for an hr with him.  She s not happy with it...but she did it to herself.  As I told my DW...I m tired of being the " good ex"  and taking her feelings into consideration, I have to watch out for DS s future..and unfortunately that means I have to protect him from his mother s bad choices.  Didn t get any child support (till end of may anyways), but wasn t expecting any any ways.  Thanks for all your support guys.

rednekrubbrduckDuck,  You have our support.  I know that you have many many things on your mind every day that the rest of us take for granted.  Keep hammering away and things will still work out in the long run.  Just remember that everything happens for a reason.  Sometimes that reason isn t clear until later.
