 TO Be A short camping season this year? I know this is a tuff time to bring this up but with the weather as cold and the snow as deep, it could be. I have my first trip on 4 April and am really wondering if the snow will be gone inorder to park the camper let alone get the camper in the park[]

We still have quite a bit of snow here, too.  It seems like spring usually surprises you, though.  Once those temps start getting up there  *BAM* - the snow starts melting like crazy and we ll be left with a ton of mud!! We already have some mud in the driveway and it s like pulling teeth to keep the kids out of it! [: (]

We got around 6 inches of new snow here last night, with more to come.  The temps are still going to be below freezing for the rest of this week.  It s really hard, but I keep saying " only three more weeks til spring!"    But, how we can get rid of all this snow and cold soon enough for the ground and air to warm up significantly is truly a mystery.  (I guess that s the way it should be, eh.

 I just don t see the humor in it-HE thinks it hysterical!! [8D] Then again, he also likes British comedy and I don t see the humor in THAT either!!! []
 
 Anyway, I saw that quote somewhere and liked it.  Sort of philisophical (I know that s spelled wrong)  and good for me because my sort of personality thinks that way.  We are not able to comprehend all of God, and if we could understand everything about Him - would He still be held in reverence and awe?  It is a struggle for me (especially during these crazy times) not to ask how, why, etc.  But it s a huge relief to me to know I don t have to have it all figured out (huge relief because I am a control freak [])
 
 That quote has been on there for a long time - since the old board.  I m thinking of changing it soon.  Maybe I ll look up the BBC site and find something that will send DH into hysterical convulsions!!  []

We have a saying here in St. louis .If you don t like the weather wait a couple of hours it will change. Case in point. Last saturday it hit 60 degrees at ahout 3 p.m. buy 6 p.m. it was 28 degrees. then the forcast was for snow possibly on monday. It got cold but the snow went north of us.  Today it hit 60 again. And for the weekend they are talking about highs of 70 to 75. -I jusy hate it when you almost have to go from running the furance to running the A/C unit.

Here in south east Virgina we have the same saying, except we say to wait ten minuntes and the weather will change...
