I finally got my coleman roof replaced and the dealer/friend delivered it back to our house. It is the new Alumitite roof and it looks great. I am so excited. Can t wait to go camping!! Oh, wait, snow today? 2-5 inches? Maybe in June!

PICongrats on the roof, Coleman was so high on the other roofs when they came out, oh well.

Camping Coxes

PIYeah for Jeanne and Rich!  Now you have to tow it all the way to Sunny, Warm, Snow-Free Southern California so we can camp together!! [8D]

PI

 PITrina,
By the time I get to Cali. we will probably have a TT and be seeing the country or flying. It is a bit of a ride but one of my goals is to visit there. We have been to Vegas but that is as far as we have been. If we go, we will look you up. I could use some warm weather right about now.

Great to hear you got the new style roof.[:D]  Coleman s been eating those ABS roofs since 1998 when they were first introduced![:o]

PIHave you considered the awning for the back side of the trailer now?

tlhdoc

PIJeanne and Rick don t forget you are camping in May with us.[&:]

PI

 PIAdmin,
We haven t thought much about another awning....not sure if we would use it very much. We ll have to wait and see. It is nice to have that option though.

 tlhdoc,
I am sooo ready to camp in May...we didn t forget...that is all I talk about. So now I have to look at Approx. 6 inches of new snow on the new roof. Do you think the snow will be gone by then, way up there.....far far away?

Red neff Barchetta

 PIPi,
I should have read your thread more thorougly, ha.
I see you got the new roof.
Would love to get a review on it after you have camped and popped up and down for a season.
O/T; yes it is one of those foam swim noodles.  Give it a try.  Only $4.00.

tlhdoc

PIJeanne I hope so, but the way this winter is going I wouldn t doubt that the snow will still be there.  I have the Paha Que screen room and the sides all close.  If we put a bunch of people in there with my Buddy heater we might melt the snow in the room.[;)]

Did your curtains and valances fit the new roof or did they give you new ones?

 Tracy,
No we did not get new curtains and we have not opened it all the way yet. There was still a space in the front when the roof was down so we thought that the seal was just caught up on the bed but we popped it up a bit and it appears the roof is not on straight so we will be getting in touch with the dealer again. The seal dropped a little but there is still a space for water to get in.

PIOh what a pain.  I hope they take care of if right away.  Keep us updated, I can t wait to see the roof in May.

PIThe good news is the seal seems to have settled more. If I look at it from the side there is a small swerve in it but I don t know how far back the seal goes. Hopefully it will be ok.
