Daniel John was born at 11:39am on Wed. March 5.  He is a big boy weighing in at 9lbs 5.5 oz. and 22 inches long.  I had a real easy induced labor and only had really painful contractions for about 20 minutes.  He delivered with one push, in fact the doctor missed it and the poor nurse only got one glove on.  I feel great, he s perfect and they even let us come home yesterday afternoon.  Big sisters Maggie and Bridget are thrilled and Daddy, Jay is beaming.  I ll have Jay post pictures on the website in the next day or so since I don t have a clue how to do it.

Don t forget to change your signature...after all Danny has arrived.

Danusmom

julecavCongratulations!  I was wondering how you all were doing since you made the PG announcement on the old forum.  So glad everything went well.  I especially like his name[:D]

BTW, if you have never changed a newborn boy s diaper before....keep plenty of paper towel around.  Sometimes that little  hose  has a mind of its own.  I ll never forget how hard I laughed the first time I saw the startled look on DS face from having  hosed  his face, the wall, the dresser, etc.  I barley got myself together enough within 5 minutes to get some paper towel to wipe him off.  I still chuckle over that memory.

Enjoy your new addition!  Hugs all around.

 Peace be with you all.

Now you make sure you take it easy, let the girls help and get strong fast!

julecavCongrats! My " smallest"  baby was 9lbs and 5 oz. The big one was wayyy over 10lbs, both very easy labors and deliveries.

I have to agree with the advice- throw a little cloth diaper over him! We only had one " fountain"  incident and that was all it took! [:D]

Glad to hear everything went well. God bless!
