WayfarerWafarer. I found that I actually needed the pin to match it, so if you have any dealers near you, pull it back out and drive it to the dealer to match the plug end. I was suprised, there are many types.

AB, I got my prodigy yesterday and they did not set the controller, it was bouncing/jerking to a full stop, started out really smooth. I turned it down, but continued the bounce. Any suggestions????
I have the .C. while driving. From what the instructions say, this is correct.

WayfarerI know we all take safty very seriously. i have often wondered why trailer manufactors don t put a pintle type hitch on their heaver trailers. A pintle type hitch is less likly to become seperated from the TV. When I bring home our new camper. (new to us anyway) I plan on removing the ball type hitch from the trailer and going with a pintle hitch.

WayfarerTim, you won t be very happy with that pintle hitch. the slop between the claw and eye will cause banging that in a normal tow vehicle will drive you nuts inside of 100 miles. It also just as easy to forget or to miss close the claw as it is to not seat a ball on a standard hitch.
If they were superior to the standard draw bar & ball you d see more of them on things besides heavy equipment. Even 70 foot house trailers use a drawbar & ball.

Also that slop is side to side and up and down as well as front & back so it s very easy for the trailer to start a sway condition.
