victor1266No it s not you. Seems someone has stolen all the instructions for screen rooms and AAR s and replaced them with ones used to install steam engines in 747 s.[:D]
Since 747 s can t use steam engines you can see how useful those intructions are. Someone just posted very nice instructions for an AAR skirt installation but since I m getting senile I can t remember which thread or even which forum site it was.

victor1266Mike - LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So that s what happened to them.

Victor - I just told my story yesterday (for the 20th. time) about how the installation of the velcro for the skirt removed all of the skin from my knuckles, especially while getting it around the stepper door.  This was in the General forum.  Do a search of the PUT archives (that is if they are accessible again) and you will find many tales and hopefully helpful tips for the skirt.  We love our screen room btw.  Forget about using it though if you don t also use the skirt.  Bugs will find their way under the PU and get trapped in the screen room with you.

victor1266We have a new Utah that we pickied up and we haven t set up the screen room yet. Does the skirt come with it or is that extra?

 Thanks

victor1266Matt - Yes the skirt is included in the box.  There will be 2 pieces for the wheel-well.  You will only need one of them, but don t toss the other one until you are sure you ve picked the correct one for your PU.  I laid everything out in front of the PU before starting.  This installation should be done all by yourself too.
Btw, we tried storing the screen room (& skirt) in a small duffel bag but got tired of cramming it in there.  We went back to storing it in the bag it came with (which is big & bulky) and we put it right inside of the stepper door.  Since you don t want to load anything heavy in back of the axles anyway (because of sway), the bag is perfect there instead of taking up precious cargo space inside the PU (in front of the axles) or in the front storage trunk.
Remember to clean with alcohol the awning and the underside of the PU before affixing the velcro.  Wait to clean your throat with alcohol until after you have drilled the holes for the side walls and the wheel-well velcro.
