 Hello All,

Time to request more advice from the vast knowledge and experience of the membership.  Does any of you know anything about Sea Eagle Inflatable Boats?  We saw them at a local sports show and were pretty impressed.  We would love to have a small boat to putt around the lakes when camping.  Problem is a canoe is too unstable for young kids, and even a small aluminum is too much to strap to the roof of the mini-van.  These Sea Eagle s can take a small motor and up to 1200lbs.  Sure seems like a good, reasonable alternative.  Does anyone have experience with these?  Any and all comments are welcome.  Thanks [:)]

p.s.- first camping trip is in four weeks and it is snowwing today![: (]  God I love Wisconsin weather.

syoungbloodOrder up a catalog from http://www.westmarine.com/  They re got a couple of good info pages about inflatables.
One thing I ve found is even though they re filled with air they can still be quite heavy and a lot more than one person can handle.
Major problem we ve had wth inflatables is how the heck do yuo get it down to the water after you ve blown it up? Like I said they can weigh quite a bit and the size makes them very difficult to carry.
