RE: One more news from Turkey

I did not see this posted anywhere : USA is now allowed to pass thru all the military vehicles they brought to Turkey into northern Iraq. Everything there is being allowed to go, the additional amuunution etc will be flown into Iraq using Turkish air space. they are not allowed to carry them in the vehicles. Like the rocket launchers which are installed on humvee s, rockets are being carried in planes.
 
 Ok, I feel very dumb about this, I mean  as long as things are getting transferred over/within Turkey, what is the point of doing things this way ? I guess they don t have to get a vote for it on the parliament or something.

Perhaps they are concerned that some unsavory group of characters would try and ambush one of the Hummers and snag some form of ordinance that the Turkish Govt doesn t want them the have access to?!?! Just a guess...
