Hello !  I am in need of replacing the ceiling liner inside my 1976 Coleman Valey Forge camper. The liner has pulled down and looks like shelving paper. The plywood ceiling has a few ruff spots also. But the roof is sound with no leaks..

Please advise me of the best way to replace this ceiling liner and plywood if needed.

Thanks to all you Mr. and Mrs. Fix it campers out there.

John the BaptistIs some type of texture paint a possibility?  Are you able to put a layer of contact sheeting on sort of like wallpaper?

John the BaptistI ve been studying a repair of my ceiling in my 1985 Colem Wmburg.  I ve found commercial/industrial vinyl wallpaper; it is very thick and can be applied using 3M spray adhesive.  You may want to consider this.

John the BaptistI have a couple of bad spots on my ceiling as well. AC gasket leaked. I m not sure how the ceiling is in your camper, but mine looks like a very thick wall-paper. I d prefer the paint treatment, myself. Seems like a lot less work.

BTW, Cheryl and I  had a  76 Valley Forge. It was our first PU. Sold it in  96.
I think we bought it in  92- 93.
