What mods have to done to eliminate the water dripping on the bunk end?

PopUpPeeps

 angelsmom10Nancy,

Some here have made " gutters"  from PVC and other creative things. I never really gave it much thought until I was in Florida in August... I actually got creative myself... I took some extra Reflectix that I had in the camper, cut a piece about two feet long and 4 inches wide and made my own gutter. I folded it in half length wise (made a " V" ), tucked it under the roof lip where the water was dripping and watched the water run off the side (it extended about 8 inches away from the camper). It did the trick for two weeks, though in a torrential downpour, It did get knocked off.

Lightweight, cheap, easy. It worked for us!

 angelsmom10Nancy,
Here is the link to the website of the guy that probably invented the PVC gutters

We use these on our camper with good results, one person I have camped with puts the dog s water bowl under it[8D] The trick is trying to decide which is the low corner of the camper[:D][:D]

angelsmom10I use the PVC method and it works great.  I just adjust the pitch of the camper using the stabilizer legs so it runs off the back corner of the camper, out the PVC and onto the ground about a foot from the camper.  Works great.

Are you saying you lift your camper and adjust pitch with the stabilizer legs? If so you re running a high risk of bending the frame. A PU is designed to have the weight on the axle and the stabilizer legs just stop if from moving around or tipping.

angelsmom10Check my website (link below in signature) for one idea used by several PU ers.  Link is at bottom of page, " AC Drip Thingy,"  under " PopUp Projects."

 angelsmom10Springer02,

I probably worded that wrong.  I adjust the pitch of the camper using the BAL leveler and then drop the stabilizer jacks so the A/C always drains off the the back side of the camper.

angelsmom10I made the PVC gutter tubes for both sides, and I can t get them to fit, so right now, I have 2 more pieces of hacked up PVC to find another use for...

angelsmom10We use a piece of " v-shaped"  vinyl corner molding (cheap from Lowes ). It is longer than the width of the trailer and it fits under the lip of the roof with two pieces of packing tape to hold it in place.
